The information was perfect, it wasn't useless information that I would forget in just two days, it was information that made me feel sympathy for the girls in India, and girls in other countries around that area. Having this emotional connection really made me feel connected and I can't stop thinking about this story, I can't wait to continue. I read every last sentence, and I enjoyed every last second of it.

I honestly think that all American kids should go through this program. First of all it astounds me how little I really knew before this opportunity, and how ignorant I can be to other countries and cultures.

Ignorance is bliss, until you have to face the truth. This program has changed my life for the better and has helped me realize how I want my future to go. I loved going through this program and learning exactly what is happening in the world around us.

I believe it was a very eye opening experience, this unit should be mandatory for every high schooler. I especially enjoyed how it wasn’t some boring article but someone’s personal experience, making each journal entry more human and added to our emotions.

This project has changed my perspective about life. We can’t just be living in our own little world. I’ve learned that you can’t judge someone till you know everything about that person you're judging. Just try to understand it, or at least respect people's beliefs, cultures, and decisions.
